Her love

She knew she loved him but it was wrong so wrong that anyone that found out would laugh at her. She was overly obsessed with him. It’s not her fault you can’t help who you fall in love with and if she could she would marry him. Every night she takes him home and everyday walks him to work hiding him from everyone’s evil eye glairs. It’s almost like she craves him five times a day. She tried to get him off her mind by joining the gym but whenever she comes home he seems to always be there! “This is crazy” she said, “I have a problem”. She tries to solve the problem by seeing a therapist. Dr. Ventura   sat and listened to his patient with little enthusiasm. She started to talk and cry “I love him so much but I know he is not good for me, where ever I go I can never run away he is always there with his delicious creamy middle filling and that chocolate.. ,” the doctor interrupted her , “ Is this love of yours by any chance a Bonbon?”   

•What is the appropriate age for dating?(essay 3)

I think that the age people should date on depends on the person them selves. I feel that the reason why people date is to find the one that you want to spend the rest of your life with. Then if that's what dating depends on people should only date when they feel ready for marriage. I see 6 year old dating and i find it really weird and nasty i believe that once you feel you are ready to actually fall in love and get married then you should start dating.

•Is using animals for scientific experiments right? (essay 3)

I believe it's wrong to use animals for any types of testing. Animals were not put on this earth only for our use for some experiments. Every life is equal and its sad to see how we feel that every life is ours. This is wrong I don't think that people will like it if the roles in life were changed as in they being the animals and being used for experiments. We could use other things for experiments therefore saving lots of animals.

This cartoon i believe brings to realization how stupid people are acting. So what if the president is Muslim it doesn't change that fact that he is trying to help the country. Still why would people think he is lying? it seems really weird to me that most people think he is lying about his religion when we live in America which has freedom of religion. On top of all that the president has things to deal with and I think we should stop piling stupid accusations on him !

Its funny how true this is, its so expensive to go to college that even on the first day they take at least a box of of tuition money. I bet it puts a lot of stress on the kids to do well since they had to pay even before going to the first class which I think is crazy ! Parents probably pay a lot to have there kids go to college and its a shame if that money goes to waist since some kids decide to slack and not do their work.

36.What techniques should the public schools use to strengthen literacy at all grade levels?

I think the techniques should involve bigger consequences in failing such as longer summer schools, detentions, after school help, and telephone parents when students grades start to shift down words. Longer summer schools make students work harder due to the fact they would rather not go to summer school, and failing would then not become a priority. detentions provides 2 hours in which a student has to do their work and there for spend time learning. After school help was provided to me when i was in 5th grade since I didn't like doing homework and it actually made me work on home work so we should have that through all levels of school. Telephoning parents helps get students to do their homework at home.

Why so many people eat junk food (essay 2)

Many people eat junk food because IT TASTES so good. Everyone knows its unhealthy for you to eat it but junk food was made to stimulate your taste buds and makes you want more. Even though junk food has no nutritional value its mostly used for the taste. For example chips have a chemical inside that makes you unable to just eat one, it opens your appetite and makes you eat more.   Your body needs fat in its system but not as much as most people eat it. So the main reason people eat so much junk food is because it opens your appetite making you want more.

The effect of a parent, teacher, or friend on your life (essay 2)

I believe that parents, teachers, and friends have an effect on life. Parents are the ones that teach you right from wrong they effect you by teaching you how to do things like cleaning, cooking, to even brushing your teeth. This impacts you a lot in your self-steam. Teachers impact on how you think and this is when you start believing your own thing instead of just listening to what your parents say. Teachers effect your life by showing another way of thinking and doing things..... they also help you decide what you want to be.   Friends from experience effect you life a lot by having fun and living your life.... i cant live without my best friend its just good to have a friend be there for you when ever you need them at anytime.

18.Should public servants (like school teachers, hospital workers, trash collectors) have the right to strike?

I think anyone should be able to strike on what they think is wrong, but their is a down side since if we run out of doctor because they are on strike people could die and if teachers go on strike kids wont have the education they payed for. So I see that it is wrong to go on strike when so many people depend on you but its the law that people could go on strike and protest for something they believe in. Everyone needs to have the same right and since everyone has the right to protest or go on strike so should teachers, hospital workers, trash collectors because company's and the government try to take advantage of citizens by paying them less .. now if i was a trash collector, doctor, teacher or any kind of worker and i was being taken advantage of I would go on strike no matter what!!!!! So everyone has the right to go on strike no matter what.

Should homosexuals be permitted to serve in the armed forces?

I think that anyone that is willing to put their life endanger and serve their country should be able to serve in the armed forces. Not everyone has the same values and morals or even beliefs as you so to tell someone you can’t be homosexual IS CRAZY ..... and everyone is free to do what they want as long as they are not breaking the law. And being homosexual is not breaking any law. Everyone is entitled to freedom and the freedom to become or be what they please so by not letting homosexuals serve should be against the law and for bided. I think it’s wrong to exclude certain people just because they feel different things. So yes we should permit homosexuals to serve in the armed forces...

What is the impact of automation on American culture and lifestyles?

Automation is the use of control systems and technologies reducing the need for human jobs. Therefore there are two sides to having automation and one of them is bad. It destroys the need for humanly work since its cheaper for companies and quicker plus you don't need to give them breaks and money. So really companies are benefiting from this. Automation is part of the American culture since almost everything is created by machines ..... our life style has changed we expect more things to be made in less time and demand more of everything and the only way to set the demand is by automation. So in the end the impact of automation is great on our culture and lifestyles if we didn't have them we wouldn't function.

"Gender Roles and Marriage"

  Men are expected to have more power over marriage but in the U.S that seems to be wrong women and men are equal. Women are treated better .......the gender roles are more equal then men having the power like in some other countries. Since more women are working they become more independent causing a change to the gender role. Men in return are doing household chores and child care work.
This passage I found has more statistics then others and is repetitive in most sections........... just trying to state that from over 30 years the roles of women and men changed and even the ideas of what a husband or wife should be. More women are taught to be more independent on getting money rather then marriage and this is what changes the gender roles.

This article gives statistics that men are better off marrying in today’s society due to the education of women. 1 out of 5 marriages women earn more money then men do. Sounds to me like the men have the better deal in marriage. It’s a significant change from the1970's were women where meant to stay home and take care of the children. This creates a more equal role of head house and a sharing in responsibility.....women now earn 71% of what males get doing their job!!! Isn’t that illegal?? Yet most people do it! I don't know but that seems to be wrong to me. In the end the result is having equal husband and wife roles....

I want a wife by Judy Brandy

Just read "I want a wife (1971)" by Judy Brady, she expresses the desire for a wife and frankly........ I want one too!!!!!!!!!! The wife seems to be treated as an object, when warn out just simply get another,  better one, start a new slate ITS THAT EASY !!!!!A wife is expressed more as a slave that works only for you and everyone you want her to work for she also helps to pursue your dream of finishing school. Judy Brady does not express the wife's point of view but just how ridiculous the man's point of view is and it gets straight to the point stating that if there ever was a person like the males view of a wife everyone would want one emphasizing a wife being an object. Picking a wife is like picking pants, finding the one that is most "suitable" to your needs.... do you want it blue? tight? old or new.... its crazy!!! seeing how women where treated and some still are and the males expectations of how a wife should be .... well there isn't a wife like that so to bad....  I love her statement and her ways of showing it!!!!!!!!!!

day 2 blog

Just watched Rosewood for English class.... it actually was a really good movie!!!! Would recommend watching it if you haven't yet.... The movie is based on a true story but we all know when they say that it could be a small part of the movie that's based on a true story but still a really good movie. Its about how a town lives with both Africans and whites but it all changes because of one women who decides to lie and say a black man raped her ... which is a lie!!!!! SO WATCH it now I just have to finish my to do list for today, its gonna be a long day!!!
